The new single is tribute to all the strong women she grew up with and to all those lovely family gatherings in her grandmother’s garden in the summers. As so often with Cicci’s music, her amazing voice, emotional melodies and strong lyrics create that kind of storytelling that we tend to associate and love with country and Americana. Cicci has written the lyrics and music herself and her longtime friend, fellow musician and producer Amir Aly is responsible for the production.

”The last of the older generation of my family, who has been close to me for as long as I can remember, passed away in May 2020 and a big part of my history was lost. At that time, the moon was also so incredibly powerful and big and it turned out that the full moon in May is called the flower moon. So as I later sat in my own garden enjoying its colorful splendor, this song came to me – now I hope they are all together in their sky looking down and smiling, and maybe even enjoying my new single,” says Cicci Landén with a smile.
